Sarah Braasch - The Perspective of the Canceled

The Shiloh Hendrix story is a fascinating one, especially since it wasn't long ago where the woke mobs successfully ruined the lives and souls of individuals for the crime of expressing non-regime-approved viewpoints. Sarah Braasch became persona non grata back in 2018 over a "sleeping while black" hoax at Yale Law. She joined Tony Mazur on the Check Your Brain podcast to give the perspective of someone who was doxxed and canceled, and how refreshing it is to see someone like Shiloh get backed by an in-group preference.

According to Check Your Brain's Tony Mazur, we live in perennial high school, where everyone wants to be accepted into the "in" crowd. Tribute to a Fallen Friend

A much different Check Your Brain podcast this week, as Tony Mazur pays tribute to his friend Anthony Petrone, who passed away on April 6th at the age of 45. Anthony was one of Tony's best friends and biggest supporters, even being the first to subscribe to his Patreon (he later unsubscribed after three months because he "just doesn't listen to podcasts") In this episode, Tony tells stories about Anthony and discusses how we should all strive to be better friends.

Bruce Hall is a long-time friend of Tony Mazur's, dating back to his days of hosting a Sunday morning sports show out of Westchester, NY. Tony had Bruce come on to talk about the absolutely nothing coming out of both the Epstein and JFK files release, then he expanded on other theories that the corporate press has deemed conspiracy. Among these topics: who were the Dulles, the World Bankers' blood thirst for war, Big Pharma's impact, and "Our Greatest Ally."

Steve Grillo is a former Howard Stern Show intern, and he lived to tell his story on both the Check Your Brain podcast, as well as his new book Gorilla Parts: Top Shelf Stories from the Most Famous Stern Show Intern Ever. He talked to Tony Mazur about how he got the most envied internship in radio, working with the cast at an ungodly hour, the greatness of Billy West, and getting to know Stern Show regulars like Jessica Hahn and Pat Cooper.

An Exiled Host Returns to Terrestrial Radio

No, not Check Your Brain's Tony Mazur, though he is certainly not on the lookout for a radio gig. But Anthony Cumia of Opie & Anthony fame has returned to regular radio at WABC and then some, as the rapid and rabid response for him garnered a syndication deal. Tony talks about why this is win-win for Cumia, as well as the state of radio in general, which usually shies away from "controversial hosts." Could this be a new beginning of former personalities returning to the airwaves?

 

But before all of that, Tony answered some questions the listeners sent him for another AMA round.

Five Years to Flatten the Curve

The week of March 8th, 2020 began with a recommendation to wash your hands and don't touch your face, and it ended with "oh my God, the world is ending." That, of course, was a hysterical reaction, but that reaction continued on for well over two years. In his annual recap of the 2020 insanity, Check Your Brain's Tony Mazur lays out everything from the mandates like wearing masks in swimming pools and filling skateparks with sand to getting tattoos of your vaccine card. He then takes the listener/viewer to today, where there is some accountability directed towards the corrupt bureaucrats and actors who pushed this, though not enough have met the Damocles of justice.
