Mark Houck - Free Man & King's Men

Mark Houck is a husband, father of seven, and Pro-Life activist from Pennsylvania, and he made international headlines when the FBI arrested him inside his home. His crime? Defending his son from a crazed abortion supporter. He has since been acquitted and even ran for congress, and he joined the Check Your Brain podcast with Tony Mazur to talk about the arrest and his mission. They also discussed the abortion debate and how the rhetoric has changed, especially since June of 2022, the birth control pill, and what it means to be a Catholic.

In Defense of Nu Metal

Per a Patreon suggestion, Check Your Brain's Tony Mazur does an entire podcast defending the short-lived and much-maligned 1990s genre that was called nu metal. Bands such as Korn, Limp Bizkit, Deftones, Linkin Park, Slipknot, Staind, Sevendust, and others don't seem too bad to Tony, as compared to what is promoted on rock radio today. He also gets into what led up to nu metal, as well as the heavy metal genre's history dating back to the 1960s.

Mary Jane Murphy - Protect Women’s Sports

Mary Jane Murphy is a comedian from the New York area, though she got her start a decade ago in Hawaii. She joined Tony Mazur on the Check Your Brain podcast to first talk about "California sobriety," where one refrains from alcohol but does every drug under the sun.

 

One area where Mary Jane is quite serious about is the protection of women's sports, which have been infiltrated by biological men in the last ten years, and how we go about fighting back, but with love, not hate.

The brains of the publicly-funded radio outlet seemed to have been broken by Donald Trump's election in 2016, and they have continued down the path of far left-wing dogma ever since, as covered on today's show by Tony Mazur.
